Back to Basque
I stood with my hands on the rail looking out across the city. It was as though the distant mountains were calling.
That particular afternoon was the first dry day in nearly a month. I remained for some time, just looking. I like the Basque Country. This time, though, I want to be away from Pamplona.

My September journey to Corfu had to be cancelled because of my back injury. Now that I'm over it and slowly getting back into shape, I've been planning the next trip.

What is in store, I don't know. At the time of writing this, there are some things in motion for places to stay. After finding Eurostar's website was out of date for the ticket price, I delayed my departure two weeks and saved myself 140 UKP (which helped in paying for my camera overhaul).) Hopefully my connections will be such that I don't have to spend the night in San Sebastian.
How long will I be there?
At this stage I'm not sure, I leave in the middle of May. If I can stay two months in the Basque Region and spend a day in Pamplona during the San Fermin (longer if I can find a place to bunk up for a few days cheap), it would be nice.
Update
For 200 Euros I found a nice sized room to rent in a decent area outside the center of the city.

The apartment was shared with 3 other guys, one from Bolivia and two who are Spanish. It will certainly help in my learning more Spanish.

It was very near to this spot that I stood. Those mountains in the background interest me.

Thing are not clear yet about accommodation etc.

This is only about half the room.

At least I have a bit of a view.
